  • Architect and build a platform for managing the lifecycle of stateful applications in the cloud.
  • Lead and mentor other developers in your team.
  • Act as a liaison between product owners and developers.
  • Take the high-level requirements that come from product owners and devise a plan based on sound architectural and technical concepts to implement them in the best possible way.


  • 10+ years of experience as a systems architect and/or software engineer.
  • Extensive experience designing and building cloud and distributed systems that span multiple clusters and data centers.
  • Significant experience with Kubernetes.
  • Expertise in designing APIs.
  • Experience in technical leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to write clean and reliable code.
  • Good understanding of security, identity management, and multi-tenancy, especially in cloud systems.
  • Ability to assess existing and emerging technologies to evaluate whether they can be used to solve the problems at hand.
  • Expertise architecting and designing brand new products and systems from scratch, starting from a set of high-level requirements and iteratively turning them into an architecture and the corresponding implementation, while striking the right trade-offs between time, quality, code maintainability and extensibility.

Bonus points:

  • Experience programming with Go.
  • Significant contributions to CNCF projects.
