Your mission
Our project team engaging on the Turkey peace initiative and aiming to strengthen inclusive spaces to promote cross-party dialogue is looking for a Digital Impact Assessment Officer (all genders) to support us in making the own impact of activities palpable, digitally prepare and/or visualize results and create corresponding presentations, but also help to collect the contributions and stories that arise during the dialogues within this project phase.
Overview of the position:
Hours: part-time (up to 60 % position)
Starting date: as soon as possible
Duration: limited contract until September 2024
Location: Berlin (Germany), hybrid possible
Your main tasks:
- Research, pick and set up an assessment tool to monitor the impact of the country specific dialogue process
- Support the project colleagues in the development of the internal documentation regarding the milestones of the peace dialogue process and transform it into alternative measurements or KPIs
- Observe the needed data protection topics to ensure sensitive data developed from the dialogue process in Turkey is being handled with significant care
- Prepare regular internal updates regarding political developments of importance to the project
- Preparing visual info graphics, project materials / PPT
- If needed for documentation develop an accompanying podcast series or alternatively short video clippings
Your knowledge, experience & skills
- You hold at least a bachelor degree or a comparable academic degree focusing on either conflict transformation, peace education, psychology or similar OR which contains transferrable knowledge regarding project monitoring, success measurements and digitization
- You have a proven track record of having worked intensely with digital mapping tools, digital impact assessment tools
- You bring innovative ideas for (web-based) data presentation for use by the project team or for stakeholder engagement
- Your professional career clearly relates to the non-profit-sector
- Furthermore, you have a flexible and goal-oriented mindset
- Excellent verbal and written language skills in English and Turkish
- The competent use of Microsoft applications, (browser-based) collaborative tools as well as graphic design tools is your daily bread
