  • Key Accountabilities
  • As a key member of the Automotive Executive Team "AET" propose, contribute and be accountable for growth strategies within the key account portfolio both regionally and globally utilizing both existing and new products and services
  • Lead, support and develop a team of Customer representatives, Key Account Managers, and Business Development Managers, to increase commercial awareness, negotiation, contractual and customer intimacy skills to drive profitable growth and attain increased levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Drive sales initiatives pursuing all growth opportunities within the existing and non-existing customer portfolio
  • Deliver high quality support to the Key Account Managers through leadership and management of the Key Account Support Team
  • Embed the Miller Heiman methodology in all the areas of the sales function
  • Works in cooperation with all corporate local, regional and central functions to ensure high quality service level via proper customer supply planning, information sharing, proactive cost reduction proposition and customer cooperation programs.
  • Develop all related sales processes and systems to implement a "best in class" sales function
  • Develop key account strategies for top and emerging accounts as well as leading the process of diversification in adjacent industries

Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience Required

  • Business fluent in English, German is highly desired
  • Honours Degree or equiv. (M) MBA (D)
  • Business experience: minimum 10 yrs in similar commercial leading responsibility in a multinational environment
  • Industry Experience: Solid track record in the Automotive sector preferred or experience in Industrial Solutions/Supply Chain Services or OEMs
  • Strong negotiation Skills
  • MH methodology
  • Sales and Account Management, business legal practices, Business Strategy in Supply Chain, Logistics
  • Strong knowledge of how a customer supply chain / purchasing operations work and operate
  • MS-Office
