Project Manager Digital B2C Solutions (m/f)

Responsibilities

The role will sit within the Digital Customer B2C team and as part of the central EON digital program, the team is responsible to drive customer centric thinking and highest standards of digital customer experience into the business and establish use of state-of-the-art digital tools. Besides sharing and adopting best practices across the regions, we deliver projects aiming to reduce costs, push growth and improve digital customer experience. 

The team is based in Essen and is an incredible combination of entrepreneurs and technology-driven experts. As our Project Manager Digital B2C Solutions you will be managing agile projects and take responsibility for the operational delivery of digital-related aspects of E.ON’s B2C solutions, specifically for its residential e-mobility & Home Heating businesses.

Your tasks:

  • Provide fresh thinking and introduce latest ideas for Digital in B2C solutions
  • Plan, staff and manage the delivery of one (or more) digital projects centrally and in the regions
  • Ensure reporting of project status and success and track budget
  • Work closely with other team members to define and deliver projects in the regions
  • Best leverage the skills of project team members such as IT experts, customer experience top seniors or external agencies

Qualifications

You will need to bring:

  • A relevant Master's degree in a digital-, business-, or technical-related field
  • Several years of work experience preferably from recognized management consultancies and a strong and proven background in digital technologies and solutions, preferably in B2C business (plus if energy experience)
  • Strong agile project management skills and a proven track record of delivering projects in time, money and quality with high commitment to customer experience and customer centric thinking
  • Enthusiasm, detail-orientation with a hands-on attitude and an entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to work in highly agile and flexible teams and business environments
  • The ability to manage own project / work-streams with a high degree of independence and strong communication skills with the ability to convince others and communicate with colleagues and third parties from various backgrounds
  • Business fluency in English (plus if in German as well)
  • Willingness to travel to different E.ON sites as part of project work
