IT Project Manager (f/m)

As holder of the position you plan, organize and control IT projects on a global level. You establish relationships with the key stakeholders and users (business) to gain the necessary insights and understand ongoing and future business developments. During implementation, you always keep an eye on both the schedule and the budget. You are responsible for project execution as well as the achievement of all defined goals. 

Key Accountabilities:

  • You manage projects along our entire IT landscape (mainly around SAP and our individual customer specific software developed in JAVA) 
  • You take responsibility for a holistic view of the projects, for monitoring the progress and for an overall reporting on these towards the management 
  • You coordinate all employees, departments and external service providers involved 
  • You set up and implement projects using standard project methods and agile methods - mainly SCRUM 
  • You act as an interface function between business and technical requirements 
  • You own operational and commercial responsibility throughout all project phases, starting with the  preparation and calculation of the offer up to the handover to the customer's IT operations 

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree in business informatics (Bachelor of Science in Information Management) or a comparable qualification with a high IT affinity and several years of professional experience in project management of SAP projects and individual software development projects 
  • More than 5 years of working experience as an IT project manager 
  • Sound project management know-how, experience in the implementation of complex ERP projects and  experience in the application of agile management methods 
  • Deep knowledge of project management methods and process models 
  • Deep knowledge and experience in agile process models such as SCRUM 
  • Experience as a business analyst and in working with external partners (near/offshore partners) 
  • Excellent communication, presentation and moderation skills 
  • Excellent spoken and written English and German; additional languages are an advantage
