In our process, when a visitor reaches paid content or services, instead of having to complete a form and hand over a credit card, the user simply agrees to pay later and gets instant access to content. We track the user's content consumption, and after a monetary threshold is reached, we collect payment. By decoupling purchases from payments, LaterPay lowers the entry thresholds for users to consume digital goods. Our partners see a significant uplift in purchase conversions and simplify their billing and collections while offering a better user experience.

What we're looking for

LaterPay is looking for a B2B Marketing Manager to drive traction in the German market. You will manage the development of integrated campaigns as well as tactical activities. To support the growth of LaterPay monetization products in established channels and launch new solutions for new channels.

The B2B Marketing Manager reports to the Head of Marketing and will work closely together with our CEO as well as the German channel owners, responsible for the sales part.

Your tasks

As the B2B Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Take ownership for KPI based marketing campaigns, which you develop together with the channel owner
  • Use a smart marketing mix to reach and engage our well defined target groups effectively (performance marketing, traditional pr, events, webinars, sales flyers, social media etc.)
  • Work closely with your colleagues from Sales, Product Development, Merchant Integration, Service and Analytics to get the insights you need for your activities
  • Develop and execute activities with external partners (agencies, freelancers)
  • Constantly measure and improve campaigns
  • Contribute to tactical activities for business development like the preparation of product presentations or coordination of design-mockups for special use cases.

About you

Our ideal candidate has

  • 2+ years in B2B and digital marketing or other relevant experience
  • Creative thinker with demonstrated success in translating concepts and ideas into exciting, clear and logical communications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in German and English with the ability to represent complex business or technical concepts
  • Experience leading multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Experience in the publishing and/or video industry, with a strong understanding of the business
  • Experience in Hubspot Marketing
  • Ability to work with a distributed team across multiple time zones

How we work

LaterPay has around 50 people spread over 12+ countries in time zones from UTC-8 to UTC+2. We’re a distributed team, though we have offices in Munich (DE) and New York (US).

We care more about the things you do than your presence at a chair at a desk at 9am every day. That said, most of us work Monday - Friday from 9ish UTC to 6ish UTC, and as you'll be focused on the German market, you'll ideally overlap with German office hours
