IT Program / Program Manager

Principal functions and responsibilities:

  • Planning, executing, and monitoring programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
  • Managing the program budget and schedule
  • Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities
  • Aligning or realigning the deliverables of the project with the overall program outcomes
  • Reporting directly to the Head of IT PMO, taking on the responsibility of overseeing all IT-related projects and programs in Germany
  • Applying change, risk, and resource management
  • Assessing the program performance
  • Resolving projects’ higher-scope issues
  • Preparing reports for PMO and SteerCos

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects an international context
  • Solid background and practical experience across all types of PM methodologies
  • Certification in PM (PMP, PgMP, etc.) is a strong advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Project and Jira; working knowledge of program / project management software and PPM tools (PPM Express, Project Server, Planview, etc.)
  • Excellent English skills, fluency in German
  • Good leadership and organizational skills
  • Communication skills and problem-solving ability
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Openness to travel internationally
