To successfully fight climate change, two major industries need to change profoundly the way they generate, store, and consume energy: Mobility and Energy. This transition needs to happen fast if we want to prevent tipping points of the climate system to be reached. At TWAICE, we accelerate the electrification in mobility powered by green energy. We do so by leveraging deep battery expertise, machine learning, and software technology.

The Fleet Solutions Team at TWAICE helps players along the vehicle supply chain - suppliers, OEMs, fleet operators - to master challenges coming along with the roll-out and operation of electric vehicles. Our SaaS products uncover previously unavailable information which permits our users to gain actionable insights into the single most valuable component inside an electric vehicle: the battery.

To innovate our products with an even stronger software focus, we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the team.

In this role, you will be working along with us on our versatile cloud-based software stack. Team members with backgrounds in Software covering all disciplines of Cloud, Backend and Frontend Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Battery Engineering will be your daily sparring partners. Leverage your skills in developing software as well as your curiosity and creativity. Together, we will push our technology - we like to call it: in-life battery analytics stack - to the next level.

Your daily business will involve

• You actively drive and shape the feature set of our SaaS mobility product in incremental and result-oriented steps
• You implement new software components across the stack, from our backend services handling millions of events per day to our API layer and frontend serving customers across industries
• You are involved in the early stages of feature development and take ownership over pieces of the product all the way from ideation to implementation and maintenance
• You continuously ship code to production through our CI/CD process and implement monitoring and observability best practices to make sure everything runs smoothly
• You help grow software engineering at TWAICE, mentor colleagues and share your knowledge and expertise in regular cross-team events

Your profile

• You have completed a higher education degree in Computer Science, or a related scientific field or equivalent professional experience
• You have a proven track record of delivering high quality code at scale and driving features across their lifecycle
• You can write clean, maintainable and well-tested code in both Typescript and Python 3+
• On the frontend you have experience with Angular as-well-as modern HTML/CSS
• On the backend you have experience with FastAPI or a similar web framework (e.g. Django, Flask …)
• You know what it takes to deploy and run code on a cloud platform using CI/CD pipelines, IaC and modern observability solutions
• You know how to use and contribute to a component library or design system on the frontend
• You are a team player and are comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment, elevating your teammates through code reviews, regular knowledge sharing and open & transparent feedback
• You are naturally curious and are willing to accumulate industry knowledge around battery technology and e-mobility
