Zum Artikel
--FILE--View of QR codes of WeChat Payment of the messaging app Weixin, or WeChat, of Tencent and mobile payment service Alipay of Alibaba Group at a free market in Nantong city, east China's Jiangsu province, 11 April 2018. The Disneyland in Hong Kong has reached an agreement with Tencent to accept Wechat Pay at the resort, reports Chinanews.com. Tourists no longer need to bring cash for eating, accommodations, playing and shopping at more than 280 sites in the resort, according to the report. Wechat Pay is being accepted by an increasing number of local businesses in Hong Kong to serve the growing number of tourists from the mainland. Statistics show that over 6.2 million tourists visited Disneyland in Hong Kong in fiscal 2017. More than one-third of them were from the Chinese mainland. *** Local Caption *** Foto: Xu Congjun/Imaginechina/dpa |
